Hey, just curious is any else has talked Some of their friends into buying this game. So far i have talked 4 people into getting this over XBL. And they got it and loved it. So i'm curious if anyone else is spreading the love.

I could've sworn there was already a topic like this with posts on it... was it deleted?

No matter.

I've tried.
And failed.
So.. yeah.

I remember how my brother ended up buying it. He plays DOAU on XBL a lot, and when Phantom Dust came out, every single person he knew from DOA started playing it. One day, he was in a room with seven other players, and they one guy said, "Hey, let's all go Phantom Dust!" and everyone agreed. Everyone but my brother, that is. He was like "But I don't own that game. Why can't we just keep playing DOA?" and everyone else in the room yelled at him for not owning the game and said things like "OMG! YOU DON'T OWN PHANTOM DUST?!?!?!!!! GO BUY IT! GO BUY IT NOW!!!!" and so he said OK, turned off the Xbox and went out and bought Phantom Dust. It was because he bought it that I started playing it, too. If he hadn't bought it, I wouldn't have either as I never have any money(literally. Like, $0.00). So, it's because of all my bro's nagging, yelling friends that I'm here today to tell this story.

My friend, GT DarkSkife talked me into it. I don't know enough people that have XBL though, so I'd have to do it all over XBL to people who play crap like Halo 2 o.o

One of my brother's Halo 2 friends on XBL was asking me something about it, like "If it cost $50, would you still buy it?" I guess he was asking me that to figure out how good it was and see if he should get it?

I convinced five of more friends to buy the game. Something I've noticed about people playing this game though. If they just jump right into the multiplayer they usually have mixed reviews on it but all of my friends who have actually played through the single player first and then the multiplayer love it.

That's because the people who go straight to multiplayer never get to know the true nature of an actual arsenal. They're just forced to play Quick, which, honestly, isn't all that great when compared to using real arsenals.

Quick really is a worthless mode, as far as I'm concerned. It annoys me that the game type is even rated, otherwise I might play it every once in a while just to fool around with the Live skills.

"Woo I got a laser arsenal in Panorama! I'm sure I can win with this."

Not like rating means anything anymore, but damn, I hate the thought of losing just because they got an arsenal that didn't suck and I was SOL.

Another problem with it is that none of the arsenals seem to have any strategy to them. They're just a bunch of skills thrown into a deck. But we digress.

Tell me about it, my brother and I play quick matches against each other a lot because he ph33rs my arsenals (he hasn't finished the game yet). We played in panorama and both got an arsenal with slide lasers. We each other's attacks except for S Laser, and spent 2 minutes trying to shoot each other at point blank with it.
