Since everybody's complaining about the hanging of enviros I thought this would help move things along a bit. And yes, the quality of the pictures blow, but you get the idea. I took a bit of damage as you can see as stupid Andro was firing blasters at me and all I had were walls.

First, start here at the picture below:

It's behind the tree on the right side (from behind the tree). You are going to be aiming to jump on that little nub next to the tree that used to be a column holding up the bridge. Now, line yourself up and hop onto the railing, like so:

Not that difficult. But this next part is the hardest. Jump straight forward, so you're standing on the column.

Here you can see the protagonist clearly defying the laws of physics. Now, you are going to be aiming for the branch just right of his head in the above picture. Jump on it, and you'll be here:

The only thing left to do is to walk over onto the bridge, like so:

The whole thing takes literally 5 seconds after trying it a few times, but it would be helpful to pack a low cost shelter or something while you attempt to make the short jumps. And there you have it, along with destroying parts of the environment, you can negate any environmental in the game on Palace. Sorry evil cartwheelers, not much you can do.

Obviously, but I'm talking about using innate abilities and attacks only, which are in 99% of all arsenals.

Maybe there is a way for cartwheelers to do it, I think there might be. I have found a lot of crazy ways to do what jumpers do.

cartwheeling across where the bridge used to be on palace is always fun, as is carting over the destroyed metal plates in highway.

ive tried numerous times to cart up the tree, and i've come really damn close. i haven't actually gotten on top, unfortunatly.

What's to stop cartwheelers from putting it on the breakable part of the bridge and destroying it? Also, it's pretty easy to drop onto the boxes in one of the corners, or wheel onto the box in the debris pile in the middle of the escalators.

I said in combination with the destroying of the environment.

Yes, but destroying EVERY usable hang spot is near impossible to do while actually fighting the person. On palace, most boxes and pieces of debris work well, as well as all of the signposts, the signs over the escalators, and the breakable bridge sections. I'm not even gonna start on Highway. The only place that you don't have to worry about is Lane, since nothing breaks there.

So it stops them from putting it in the middle of the bridge, even though roughly 1% of the people who hang put it there.

I suppose, in theory, you could make an enviro really hard to reach if you had jump or skywalk, and put the it on top of one of the middle buildings...

You don't even need Jump or Skywalk to get onto the walls of the highway. You just have to run onto an overpass and jump/airwheel off and land on the wall, then attack the wall, or fall off and break it when you land, and it's hung. To stop a Highway hang, you have to shoot all the breakable floors near the toll booth and along the straight road on the bottom, break all of the walls, break the sign near the small overpass, and break all the small railings on the median. Good luck managing that while fighting the person you're trying to stop from hanging.

Um, I should've been more clear. I was talking about Lane.

I'm pretty sure all of the middle buildings can be airwheeled onto.

Every? How many are there on Palace, 5-7 maybe? You can hit 7 stationary objects right? If you can't then apparently the situation is more dire than I had thought. Highway is a different story, but then again Highway sucks.

4 breakable bridge spots (the main and smaller sub section of each side in the middle), 6 sign posts, 2 signs above escalators, 2 box areas, and possibly tables if it's possible to stand on the chairs on the tables to put it down (tables are within reach, but the chairs probably wouldn't be). Plus, you have to get an attack to do all of this with, and take it all down while your opponent is building their hand and possibly attacking you. If they get the environmental before you even get an attack, you're screwed. Even if they don't get it before then, you're gonna have to spend a good 30 seconds breaking stuff while they go through about 2 spawns worth of stuff to build their hand. So try it--play a few games with a competent player. The rules are you have to break every spot the enviro could be hung and still kill them. If you don't you lose. If the arsenal they're playing is even remotely aggressive, it's not gonna happen.
