What's to stop cartwheelers from putting it on the breakable part of the bridge and destroying it? Also, it's pretty easy to drop onto the boxes in one of the corners, or wheel onto the box in the debris pile in the middle of the escalators.

I said in combination with the destroying of the environment.

Yes, but destroying EVERY usable hang spot is near impossible to do while actually fighting the person. On palace, most boxes and pieces of debris work well, as well as all of the signposts, the signs over the escalators, and the breakable bridge sections. I'm not even gonna start on Highway. The only place that you don't have to worry about is Lane, since nothing breaks there.

Every? How many are there on Palace, 5-7 maybe? You can hit 7 stationary objects right? If you can't then apparently the situation is more dire than I had thought. Highway is a different story, but then again Highway sucks.

So it stops them from putting it in the middle of the bridge, even though roughly 1% of the people who hang put it there.

Yee-freaking-haw.

You don't play many serious games do you?

4 breakable bridge spots (the main and smaller sub section of each side in the middle), 6 sign posts, 2 signs above escalators, 2 box areas, and possibly tables if it's possible to stand on the chairs on the tables to put it down (tables are within reach, but the chairs probably wouldn't be). Plus, you have to get an attack to do all of this with, and take it all down while your opponent is building their hand and possibly attacking you. If they get the environmental before you even get an attack, you're screwed. Even if they don't get it before then, you're gonna have to spend a good 30 seconds breaking stuff while they go through about 2 spawns worth of stuff to build their hand.

If the guy is attacking you, common sense would tell you that he is not currently hanging an enviro.

Common sense would tell you that they could easily be shooting a ranged attack at you and drop the enviro while you're distracted.

What's the worst it could be? The only devastating ones are Reduce Entropy, Memory Lapse, and Forest Sanctuary. Unless you're deathly afraid of Reincarnation there is nothing to fear from range.

Well I thank you for putting this up and I'm sure others appreciate it. It made me realize I could approach the peg from the back. I usually do it from the front. Might be easier from the back...

Oh and for all the complaints about hanging why the hell will no one ever play Silent Lane if they want to avoid it so bad? Its always the same Palace and Highway over and over.

I suppose, in theory, you could make an enviro really hard to reach if you had jump or skywalk, and put the it on top of one of the middle buildings...

You don't even need Jump or Skywalk to get onto the walls of the highway. You just have to run onto an overpass and jump/airwheel off and land on the wall, then attack the wall, or fall off and break it when you land, and it's hung. To stop a Highway hang, you have to shoot all the breakable floors near the toll booth and along the straight road on the bottom, break all of the walls, break the sign near the small overpass, and break all the small railings on the median. Good luck managing that while fighting the person you're trying to stop from hanging.

not to mention the area behind the tollboth that you can skywalk/levitate over to.

I can't even cartwheel onto the boxes behind the tree, on the left. The second, higher set of boxes.

CAPTAIN OBVIOUS AWAY!

Yeah, but the thing I hate is with like... Reduce Entropy, let's say.

Psycho
: Crush costs 3 -- nope.
Optical: Nope.
Nature: Starting point, yes, but it's single use. Feels like such a waste of space. And if they can hang a second one...
Ki: Nope.
Faith: Yes.

Not everyone wants to put nature or faith in every single deck. :\

Yeah, that's pretty much it. If you take 30 seconds of so to destroy some objects in Palace you don't even need enviro-erase. A bit risky, but it isn't a problem if you know how to handle it.

remote mine works wonders in palace, but in highway your screwed, since levitate + skywalk takes you just about anywhere.

Another reason why I never play highway.

I like to play enviros in Lane... no hanging, but a lot of neato places to hide them.
