Some of you may have noticed this, but yesterday, while playing Quick I discovered that Pursuit is VERY effective as a defense when evading many close range attacks....it's almost like a jumping dash.

I wouldn't say VERY effective, but in a tight spot it can work like that. Make sure you're not locked onto anyone / your target is far away, though.

That's the funky thing, I WAS locked on. It was against a psycho burst (I think) and a sword. When he attacked, I'd hit pursuit, and boom, I'd basically jump past him to where he was when he initally made the attack....we did this repeatedly for a couple minutes. A smarter player would have prolly faked me out or pinned me. Without the lock on, I did not get any distance.

It's all about range. Obviously, if you use a mid range projectile that knocks down the opponent, then you'll use Backdraft Bullet. However, if you're closer to the opponent, then Pursuit is better.

I like BB better by a tiny margin, but it certainly doesn't make Pursuit worthless. If you're going to be knocking people down with melee, you want Pursuit and not BB. Aura Backflow + Pursuit = nasty.

Pursuit is good if you're not a Jumper. Otherwise...

you dont have to jump to make bb hit at melee range. just a few steps back and fire, you will hit them in time.

I wasn't saying if you're cartwheeling/rolling DON'T use BB, I'm just saying it makes more sense since jumpers can do it pretty much automatically.

and all im saying is i can do it every time as a cartwheeler also, it makes no difference in oftenness or ease of hitting.
